Project Architect / Design Architect
A contract position is available for a Project Architect with skills and strength in the Specialist Disability Accommodation projects. This is a rare opportunity to take on a role within a small sized practice that is offering long-term career advancement for the right person.
Required Experience and Skills
- Experience working for Special Disability Accommodation projects (SDA/LHD)
- Prefer experience working in design of shared accommodation or high-end residential
- At least 2 to 3 years local post-registration experience in a Project Architect capacity
- Understanding and experience of both refurbishment and new builds
- Ability to manage projects from conceptual design, Town Planning, Construction documentation and Contract administration
- Excellent presentation and writing skill
- Architecture design aspirations and the desire to commit long-term
- Proficiency using AutoCAD, Sketchup, Photoshop and Lumion/Vray Rendering
- Preferably ARBV Registration

Architecture Internship
Sky Architect Studio is looking for a vibrant and hard working architecture masters graduate or final year masters students for an internship position. The internship program offers valuable work experience in our Melbourne office. Full time or Part Time position may be offered upon internship completion.
The position will allow you to gain valuable professional architectural office experience, Town Planning and Building Permit process with the opportunity to use your skills in 3D modelling, rendering and creating realistic artistic impressions.
High levels of proficiency in the following is a must:
Sketchup modelling
- Autocad
- Lumion or Vray Rendering
- Adobe Photoshop for editing
- All applicants must be available a minimum of 2 or 3 full day per week.
